An Ode to Greenview

| Ever
wonder what it’s like to live high on a hill, Where you can see forever when the air is still! Where you watch the sun when it springs into view, Warms itself, then chases the dew. When you see the moon when it’s full and exciting Peeping over the trees like a kid that’s been hiding! Then to follow the stars with its full face beaming, And cover the earth with an icy gleaming. Tiring of its travels as it reaches the west, It frowns at the dawn, then lies down to rest!
It’s a beautiful experience living high on a hill In an ancient old house so serene and still. Even with the storm and its thunder and lightning, A horrible experience and at the least, quite frightening! One thing can be counted on and destined to come true, Soon all this will pass and the sky will become blue. Then once more I’ll look from my house on the hill At the world around me so serene and still. And be truly amazed at all the beauty I see, When I look at the world as it was meant to be! ©BNKeys, Paranormalplus.com2003
